Licensees (HRSGs and Industrial Boilers)
Doosan Babcock has a long history of licensing its technology. The roots of this go back to 1891 when Doosan Babcock (then known as Babcock & Wilcox Limited) supplied steam generating plant globally (with the exception of the USA and Cuba). The Company established a network of over 60 overseas sales offices - from Adelaide and Auckland, to Madrid, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro and Yokohama.

As the years passed and market conditions changed, most of these offices eventually became independent of Doosan Babcock; however most continued to operate under our Technology Licence for many years thereafter.

Today, the Doosan Babcock family of licensees still includes two original 'Babcock' companies - Babcock Africa (based in Johannesburg) and Babcock & Wilcox de Mexico. Many other international boilermakers have recognised the outstanding nature of our technology and become our Technology Licensees. Our Licensee Network now includes STF in Italy, Vickers Hoskins in Malaysia, Moss in Norway, Harbin Boiler Company and Shanghai Boiler Works in China, Enmas Engineering in India, Rafako in Poland and, more recently, NEM in Holland.

All these companies offer a variety of products and services, based on technology licensed from Doosan Babcock. Our family of licensees can supply high quality, cutting edge plant and equipment from 30te/hr oil/gas fired package boilers and Heat Recovery Steam Generators for CCGT, through to 600MWe supercritical coal fired steam generators. Anywhere in the world, if you have a project that we cannot undertake directly, we probably have a locally based licensee who can offer you the latest technology supported by the highest standards of technical expertise and exceptional customer service.
