Doosan Babcock has a large workforce of Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) who are familiar with undertaking inspection, repair, decontamination and decommissioning activities in some of the harshest working environments within the nuclear industry. This includes support to operating power plants and NDA decommissioning sites.

We provide Vessel Entry Services to AGR power stations. This involves working within the PCPV in a confined space environment where temperatures are 50C to 60C, and radiological conditions are designated as R3/C4.

We design and supply much of the specialist equipment needed to carry out harsh environment work and through our training facilities ensure that the equipment and operators are fully prepared using representative mock-up facilities.
