We employ radiological protection advisors (RPA), radiological protection supervisors (RPS), health physics supervisors (HPS), health physics monitors (HPM) and general duties assistants (GDA) with extensive experience of all types of radiological environments.
Our employees have experience of all current UK and European legislation covering work with ionising radiation and the transport and disposal of radioactive materials.
Doosan Babcock also maintains a comprehensive range of health physics instrumentation including portable equipment for alpha, beta and gamma monitoring, gamma spectroscopy and gross counting. We are able to rapidly deploy SQEP teams that are fully equipped to undertake work throughout the UK.
We operate our own authorised facilities and are authorised for the transport of controlled waste under the Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989. We also provide dangerous goods safety advisors (DGSA), ADR ''Class 7'' vehicle trained drivers and radiological protection advisors (RPA) to offer support for the packaging and transport of radioactive materials. Doosan Babcock has quality assurance agreements and disposal agreements in place with Drigg and has established relationships with many licensed landfill site operators and licensed incinerator operators.
