We offer a range services from advisory support through to a fully integrated service. We have experience of disposal via various routes including incineration, licensed landfill and Drigg.

We undertake waste characterisation and product testing including leach trials to ensure that wastes are acceptable to disposal site operators. We also prepare waste quality assurance / waste disposal documentation and have well established arrangements in place with Drigg.

Encapsulation of cement based matrices and transport of the final product by road, rail or sea is also provided.

Waste processing can either be carried out on clients' own premises or alternatively small quantities of raw waste can be collected and transferred to our Gateshead facility for conditioning and onward disposal. The Gateshead facility is authorised for radioactive materials and provides a base from which Doosan Babcock operates our mobile solidification plants.

The facility also permits the decontamination and maintenance of equipment contaminated with radioactive materials. Steam cleaning, high pressure water and chemical decontamination processes are utilised to decontaminate components.
