Our integrated resource forecasting network is used to target recruitment, paths of employment and skill development. Each employee is assessed to establish their individual skills, experience and competence, to enable the deployment of our people to the appropriate roles. This also assists in the delivery of additional resources to cover emergent work as dictated by individual projects.
Such detailed planning and monitoring assists in our evaluation of the industry capabilities. With a potential major European skills shortage, the management of valuable resources is a core discipline in providing the quality of service expected from our clients. This has led us to implement a training strategy focused on developing the skills of existing employees, as well as securing and training key personnel of the future via our apprenticeship programme, adult craft NVQ training programmes, graduate programmes, planner programmes and bespoke in-house training of others (grinders, fitters' mates, welding supervision, QA engineers etc).
