Doosan Babcock 's expertise and in depth experience, combined with our technology, are available to clients to ensure the full life cycle viability, efficiency and safety of their plant. Our Technical Services group has a team of plant testing engineers who can carry out performance tests to national, international and client specific standards anywhere in the world, either on a project basis or as part of a planned management programme.

Clients may need to carry out performance tests for a variety of reasons, for example:

  • To establish or to prove the performance of newly built or modified plant
  • To provide input data for design studies
  • As part of a trouble shooting exercise
When plant operators need a definitive measure of a part or all of their plant's performance their first port of call is the Doosan Babcock Technical Services team. Our highly experienced test engineers carry out performance checks on all types of plant to any relevant standard. They routinely conduct tests on overall plant performance or specific tests related to specific issues. Our team is experienced at undertaking a wide range of checks, including but not limited to:
  • Plant performance and efficiency testing
  • Maximum rated output of boiler, fans, pumps
  • Boiler efficiency and emissions over a range of loads, oxygen levels and fuels
